After giving birth, I struggled with a torn rectus abdominis and digestive issues that left me constantly bloated. At times I looked pregnant months after my baby was born.

I’ll never forget being in a yoga class when the teacher asked, “When are you due?”

I wasn’t pregnant — I was just trying to heal.

Later, as I entered perimenopause, things became even more challenging. My core felt weaker, my belly still protruded, and hormonal shifts made everything feel unpredictable.

That’s when I realized the usual advice wasn’t enough.

I began studying the deeper connections between digestion, stress, hormones, immune health, and nutrient balance.
